Eligible phones that will get the Xiaomi magic function
Xiaomi MIUI is turning out to be the best Android skin out there. The company has been taking the critics with a good heart. They have been working on all that concerns MIUI, which led to the release of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, and has improved some device performance speed and reduced power consumption. Although the improved version of MIUI 12.5 didn’t bring any physical changes, those in the closed beta channel keep getting new features with each release. Currently, the company is testing what they call Xiaomi Magic.
The Xiaomi Magic function debuted with the Mi Mix 4. After the release, it went into closed beta test, and it seems the function is stable enough to start seeding to the public. However, for you to get the functionality, you need the new control media control enabled. Luckily, you can get it from here, but we don’t think it can work just yet. The function is exclusive to Chinese ROM users for now, and hopefully, we will see it on global handsets with the release of MIUI 13.
The function of Xiaomi Magic
Xiaomi magic is a music control feature. It allows the connection of up to eight different phones at the same time using a Wi-FI connection. Once the connection is successful, these phones can play the same song simultaneously. Interestingly, it supports third-party music players like QQ Music and NetEase Cloud music. Also, streaming to speakers for playback is supported by the Xiaomi magic.
When using Xiaomi magic, you can use your phone to make or receive calls, play games without interrupting the song that’s playing. Also, once the connection is established, things like pausing, stopping, and adjusting volume is synchronized

To use the Xiaomi magic player, you should be on MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition and running the V1.76.1 of Xiaomi music app.
