Xiaomi, in a couple of days, will launch a new Redmi Note 10 series phone in India. The company confirmed the launch date in a poster it posted on Twitter yesterday. And now, they have put up a landing page for the device on the Xiaomi Indian website. We’ve been able to decode some of the device specs, and from the pictures posted on the website, it’s going to be a new device.
Earlier rumors suggested that the Redmi Note 10 will arrive as a rebadged Redmi 10X 5G. It made sense initially given that the device has remained in China and coupled with the fact that one of the variants will feature an AMOLED display. But given the latest teaser of the Redmi Note 10, the device will depict a new design. As for whether it will feature an AMOLED display, we hope to find out. However, below is the features of the device based on the new teaser.
Details of the Redmi Note 10 phone
The Redmi Note 10 phone landing page shows we’ll see a new device design. Around the front panel, we could see a flat display with a centered punch-hole camera. The panel will have Gorilla Glass protection and will support a 1P52 rating for splash and dust resistance. The images also revealed the side panel, showing off a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a protruding camera hump. The back seems flat while a fast-charging capability was teased, including a Snapdragon processor.
Also, the device is expected to come with improved Hi-Res Audio and haptics. We expect an LCD panel and a primary 108MP camera sensor. The device will come in colors of White, Green, and Grey, while the Pro model will have Bronze, Blue, and Grey colors. For now, that’s all we know about the Redmi Note 10, and will hope to find out the full features after the March 4 event.
