Xiaomi to introduce the Redmi 10X 5G globally as Redmi Note 10

A few days ago, Xiaomi confirmed they’ll unveil the Redmi Note 10 series phone next month in India. After the announcement, the device was listed on Amazon India, and from the listing, the device will debut in four variants: Redmi Note 10 4G, Note 10 5G, Note 10 Pro 4G, and Note 10 Pro 5G. That has been the latest rumor about the device until the recent teaser coming from Xiaomi.

The latest news about the Redmi Note 10 series phone is in the form of a poll. Xiaomi made a poll on Twitter asking its fan between two options, the one they would choose. The tweet reads, “if you were to pick just one out of the following 2 specs on your next #RedmiNote series smartphone, what would it be?” The options are “Best LCD + 120Hz and AMOLED.

The poll result shows that 88.2% of Xiaomi fans will prefer an AMOLED display. A total of 4,747 people have so far voted, and only 11.8% went of an LCD panel. Perhaps, the company plans to equip at least one of the Redmi Note 10 series phone with an AMOLED display, and hence, the poll. In the light of that, there’s a rumor currently on the internet that Xiaomi will present the Redmi 10X 5G in India as the Redmi Note 10 series. That makes sense given how Xiaomi renames its phones in every market and couple the fact that the Dimensity 820 powered device has remained in China since the launch.

And if the rumors are true, at least one of the Redmi Note 10 series phone will come with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display. The processor will get up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’ll be a primary 48MP snapper accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide angle-lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Check the full specs here.

Of course, these are early rumors and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. However, since the company is already teasing the device, it wouldn’t be long until features of the phone start surfacing.
