Samsung isn’t done seeding Android 13 updates to its Galaxy smartphones as we’ve got another – this time it’s the Galaxy A51 5G Android 13. Samsung’s Android 13 rollout was fast second to only Google. The brand kick-started the stable rollout in October with the flagships first and then gradually moving to the mid-range.
Interestingly, the brand promises that the Android 14 rollout will be a lot faster. Back to the subject matter, the Galaxy A51 5G Android 13 update bears firmware version A516BXXU5EVL2 and the brand made sure to bump up the security level of the smartphone by adding the latest security patch- that’s the December SMR.
Currently, the Galaxy A51 5G Android 13 update is rolling out in some European countries and as usual, other regions will follow in the coming weeks. According to SamMobile, the December security patch(present in this update) fixes up to 93 vulnerabilities.
What’s new?
You should be expecting features like better personalization and customizations, video wallpaper, enhanced Material You, tweaks to Bixby Routines, Smart Suggestion Widget, and a new share Panel notification among many others. However, bear in mind that this update might not be as fantastic as it is on the likes of the flagship S22. That said, Samsung Galaxy A51 5G Android 13 update (together with the November security patch) will give this smartphone a new look.
