Galaxy S22 Android 14-based One UI 6 arrives for unlocked models in the US

It has been weeks since the Galaxy S22 Android 14 update was released. The update arrived for European models and has since extended to other regions. Meanwhile, some users in the US have been waiting, but it seems more people are now getting the update.

The latest release is rolling out for the unlocked version of the Galaxy S22 series. It means the Factory Unlocked versions of Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are getting the much-anticipated upgrade. The update is rolling out with a firmware version S9xxU1UEU3DWK5 and weighs 3184.89MB. 

As expected, all the features of One UI 6 come along, which includes a reworked Quick Settings panel. The Home screen and Widget have been enhanced, while emojis got a fresh design and other improvements. After installing the update, you will notice that scrolling has become smoother. How to download Galaxy S22 Android 14 update

If you haven’t received the upgrade on your device, head to Settings>>Software update>>Download and install. Follow the screen prompt to download and install the new update, if available, and reboot to complete the upgrade.
