With the stable Android 14 update set to start seeding in the coming weeks, OEMs are working to roll out the upgrade to their eligible phones as soon as possible. The Galaxy S22 series phones are eligible for the next Android OS upgrade, and it’s now testing the update ahead of the general release.
Samsung started testing Android 14 with One UI 6 beta for weeks. The update arrived for Galaxy S23 users a couple of weeks before making its way to Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 5G. As expected, the Galaxy S22 Android 14 update is now available with the One UI 6 beta update.
The Galaxy S22 Android 14 update is currently exclusive to South Korean users. It’s available for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The update has a firmware version S90xNKSU3ZWIA and weighs about 3GB. Aside from introducing Android 14 and One UI 6 customizations, it bumps the Android security patch to September 2023.
How to download Galaxy S22 Android 14 update
The update is live in South Korea. To download, open the Samsung member app and click on the One UI 6.0 banner on the homepage. After completing the registration, you can download the Android 14 update from Settings >>Software update>>Download and install.
