Samsung Galaxy S23 users in Europe are now getting One UI 6.0 beta update

The eagerly awaited One UI 6 beta update, based on Android 14, initially made its debut in Germany, the USA, and South Korea. Samsung Galaxy S23 users in these regions were the first to experience this new iteration of the popular user interface. However, as time progresses, the update is now making its way across Europe, including Poland, where Samsung enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating its arrival.

OneUI 6.0 beta update

The second One UI 6 beta update comes with a comprehensive list of improvements and fixes, addressing various issues that plagued the initial beta release. Samsung has claimed to have resolved problems such as app crashes, unexpected resets, performance hiccups, and disappearing icons, significantly enhancing the overall user experience.

Notably, this update brings fixes to several specific features, including Repair Mode, Music Share, the S Pen button, Multi-Window in Secure Folder, Netflix, physical keyboards, and Galaxy Buds phone calls, among others.

Interestingly, some improvements not mentioned in the official changelog have been observed. Samsung appears to have corrected the lock screen clock issue, which previously prevented users from maintaining their preferred clock position. It’s possible that the second OneUI 6.0 beta update has tackled additional bugs or introduced unannounced features.

However, it’s worth noting that the Samsung Health homepage overhaul and the ability to modify the water cup capacity, mentioned in the announcement for the new beta firmware, weren’t immediately apparent on Galaxy S23 phones running OneUI 6 beta 2 in Europe. These changes might be introduced through subsequent app updates or could be documented in future changelogs.

Remember to back up your device before installing the beta to safeguard your data, as this update is expected to be made available to the wider public in the coming months, offering an enhanced Samsung experience for all.
