The situation worsens for Galaxy Z Fold 3 owners, whose screens are breaking even after cautious use, and the problem appears after the warranty has ended. And, because the phone is no longer under warranty, the only thing a user can do is repair the screen at their own expense.

According to PhoneArena, one customer stated that their Galaxy Z Fold 3 screen had a display crack even though it had never been dropped. According to the user, the crack formed in the center of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 display, while the owner is still paying off the device’s $1,100 purchase price.

When the owner contacted Samsung, the firm led them to UBreakiFix, who allegedly can repair the Galaxy Z Fold 3 screen for $800. That’s absurd since it’s 73% of the phone’s initial cost to repair something that may or may not have been the owner’s fault.

Snoo, a Redditor, reported a similar experience. This Samsung Z Fold 3 owner noticed a fracture on the inside screen of the smartphone where the phone opens and shuts. The owner said that this problem developed after 15 months of safe use of the equipment.

Several additional people are reporting the same issue with the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s display, but there has been no official response from Samsung. Furthermore, according to all user accounts, the problem emerges shortly after the warranty expires, with some users reporting that the damage appears around the one-and-a-half-year mark.

To reach out to the Samsung CEO about your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 screen, you can follow the link at the end of the article but this applies to users in the US. Users in other regions can head over to Samsung’s official website and call a high official.
