Global Mi 10T / Pro stable MIUI 13 update arrives with Android 12

Google hopes to reach Android 13 platform stability in the coming weeks, and with Xiaomi also participating in the preview, we expect eligible phones to start getting the update in Q4 2022. And while the beta test for Android 13 is ongoing, eligible phones are still getting Android 12. The update has just been released for the Global Mi 10T / Pro users.

Xiaomi released the update to the European models a couple of weeks ago. The rollout was limited to Mi Pilots members, and their feedback probably delayed the global release. Some users reported ‘No Signal’ issues after the upgrade, and it seems that has been fixed, hence, why the global Mi 10T / Pro stable MIUI 13 update is now seeding.

The global Mi 10T / Pro stable MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.3.0 SJDMIXM. It weighs 3.2GB and has bumped the Android OS to version 12, while the Android security patch level is on April 2022. The update comes with other customization and improvements, which are part of Android 12 and MIUI 13.

Android 12 permission notification — alerts a user when an app is accessing the camera, microphone, or location is part of the package. Also, apps can now open as a floating window from the sidebar. 

Meanwhile, given the experience of early adopters, we recommend waiting for feedback before installing the update. If you would upgrade, you should back up your files before proceeding.
