MIUI beta testers

[Update: June 03] Global MIUI 13 closed beta testers recruitment has started

A fresh Global MIUI 13 stable beta testers recruitment is ongoing. Register below…

For a couple of days, Xiaomi stopped rolling out updates. The closed beta group, which gets updated daily/weekly was, suspended. It looks like the holidays are over as developers are back to work. They’re expected to push the MIUI 13 closed beta builds to the Chinese users in the coming hours, and it looks like the global users will start getting the same treatment soon. According to a recent report, Xiaomi is recruiting global MIUI 13 closed beta testers.

Global MIUI 13 closed beta testers

If you’ve been following Xiaomi for the past decade, you’d know that the company had Global Closed Beta Testers. Perhaps, because of the work required, the company had to suspend the global testing to focus on the Chinese ROM. It raised some eyebrows, but that didn’t change anything until recently. Before MIUI 13 release, it was rumored that the Chinese company might restart global closed beta testing. Going by the latest report, the company might be working on that.

Xiaomi is currently recruiting Global MIUI 13 closed beta testers. It’s unclear if they’ll get the same treatment as the Chinese testers in terms of how early they get updates, but we doubt. Perhaps, the recruitment is for ‘Stable Beta Testers.’ These people receive ‘Stable Updates‘ first and preview them for bugs. Their feedback determines if an update will be rolled out publicly or called back.

Either way, we hope to learn about the current recruitment when selected users start receiving a new update. For now, you can apply to participate in the global MIUI 13 closed beta testing, but make sure you read the instructions.
