Xiaomi continues to upgrade more devices to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. It’s the turn of the POCO X3 NFC to grab the update, which has been rolling out for a couple of weeks now. The global users are getting the update, and as usual, it’s a Mi Pilot release at the moment. We expect the public release in the coming days after the beta preview.
The global POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.4.0 RKGMIXM. It weighs 615MB and comes with features of the current MIUI build. That’s surprisingly missing on the changelog, but all that – Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance – have all been introduced.
After downloading the global POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update, you might need to enable the Memory Extension function. It’s a feature that converts part of the internal memory into virtual RAM. Depending on the configuration of your device, you can get up to 3GB of virtual RAM. And aside from that, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to November 2021 to increase system security and stability.
As said initially, the update is exclusive to Mi Pilots at the time of this publication. We expect the public release in the coming days, but you can check for the update via the updater app. Also, you can use the link below this post to download the ROM.
