Global POCO X6 Pro 5G HyperOS update starts rolling out

Xiaomi continues to release Android 14-based HyperOS updates to eligible phones. So far, only a few POCO phones have received the much-anticipated upgrade. As expected the global POCO X6 Pro 5G HyperOS update has started rolling out but is exclusive to select users.

Global POCO X6 Pro 5G HyperOS update

It’s been a couple of days since the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro received Android 14 with the stable HyperOS update. The update is now rolling out for the global POCO X6 Pro 5G model, while other models will receive the update in the coming weeks. It’s a limited release to allow Mi Pilots members to preview the ROM before the public rollout starts.

Meanwhile, the Global POCO X6 Pro 5G HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.2.0.UNLMIXM. It comes with all the expected features, which include new system fonts, a revamped control center, a redesigned weather app, a new animation language, and improved connectivity and security. Also, the update bumps the Android security patch level to December 2023 to increase system security and stability.

We expect public release to commence in two weeks, and while waiting for the OTA, ensure your bootloader is locked. If you wish to install the Recovery ROM, you can download it with the link below if you have an authorized Xiaomi Beta account. Otherwise, you will encounter an error while trying to flash the ROM.
