Xiaomi is currently working to finalize the deployment of the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5. Before today, only a handful of eligible phones have received the update, but that has increased. It seems the Chinese OEM has finally intensified the rollout as the MIUI 13 release date draws near. According to a recent report, Xiaomi will present the build towards the end of the year. That’s probably why more devices keep picking up the current MIUI build.
As expected, the global Redmi 9 Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 has been released to the global variants. The build is available as MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJCMIXM and weighs in about 610MB. It brings all the expected features – Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Smart Storage, and Focused Algorithm. That has supposedly improved performance while promising more life between charges.
Aside from introducing these features, the global Redmi 9 Enhanced Edition brought the Memory Extension function. And while some device gets up to 3GB of virtual RAM, Xiaomi only allows 1GB option for the Redmi 9. Also, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to October 2021 to increase system security and stability.

Xiaomi has released the Redmi 9 MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in more regions. The update is seeding for the units in Turkey and Indonesia. It comes with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJCTRXM and MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJCIDXM, respectively. As expected, it has introduced the features of the current MIUI build while bumping Android security patch level and enabling virtual RAM. Download the ROM below.
