The wait is over as Xiaomi starts seeding Redmi 9T Android 12-based MIUI 13 update to eligible users. It’s the global users currently getting the much-anticipated upgrade, while European models are getting a new security patch build.
We knew it was a matter of time before the Redmi 9T Android 12 update will start rolling out after the upgrade was released in China. Those running the global ROM can download the update by heading to their updater app. However, the rollout has been limited to a few users, and not all the regions are getting the update.
Redmi 9T Android 12 update isn’t available in these countries: Brazil, Mexico, United Araba Emirates, Japan, Bolivia, Argentina, Vietnam, Nigeria, New Zealand, and Costa Rica. Perhaps, Xiaomi plans to release the update later in these regions.
Meanwhile, the Redmi 9T Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJQMIXM. It brings a stable MIUI based on Android 12, August 2022 security patch, new features, and optimizations. You might have the new control center enabled after the upgrade, but you can activate it manually here.
