Xiaomi is now rolling out the Redmi Note 9 4G / Redmi 9T Android 12 update. The update is arriving for users in China with a stable MIUI 13 but will likely take a few days to start seeding for the global users.

The Redmi Note 9 4G arrived in China running Android 10 on top of MIUI 12 and was released to the global market a few months after with the same software. Both phones (Redmi Note 9 4G and Redmi 9T) are currently running Android 11 with MIUI 12.5, but that changes for the Chinese models now. 

The Redmi Note 9 4G / Redmi 9T Android 12 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJQCNXM. That confirms our previous report, hinting that the update will arrive soon in China. We expect the global rollout to commence in the coming days, and we recommend following us on Telegram to know when the update becomes available.

The new build is coming with a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SJQCNXM to improve performance and fix bugs. It also brings the August security patch to increase system security and stability.
