Amid the reports that Xiaomi is about to initiate the second phase of the MIUI 12 rollout, the company is still rolling out a stable MIUI 11 update to most of its phones. The latest device to receive a stable update based on Android 10 is the Redmi Note 7 global version, after the Chinese and the Indian variant received the build a couple of days ago.
The global Redmi Note 7 Android 10 update is arriving with a build number, “MIUI 11.0.1.0 QFGMIXM”, and weighs in at 2.0GB. Aside from bringing the much anticipated Android 10 build, it bumps the Android security patch to July. Also, there’s a new Mi Share feature, which arrived alongside the latest build, and below is the complete changelog.

The update is arriving in batch and should appear on all compatible devices in a few hours. However, you can navigate to the System Updates and manually scan for a new update, and see if the update has arrived on your device.

As for when the MIUI 12 update will start arriving for the device, there’s no official ETA, but reports are suggesting the ending of July.
