Xiaomi is now pushing the global Redmi Note 9T MIUI 13 alongside Android 12 to eligible users. The update was released in China weeks ago, and the time has come for the international release. However, it’s a limited rollout at the moment for Mi Pilots members to preview it for bugs.
As Google prepares to release Android 13 to the public, Xiaomi is following up, with a handful of its phones testing the upcoming OS. They haven’t stopped upgrading eligible Android 12 phones with MIUI 13, which is the case with the Redmi Note 9T.
The Global Redmi Note 9T MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJEMIXM and weighs 3.0GB. It comes with a stable MIUI based on Android 12 and bumps the Android security patch level to May 2022. Also, there are some performance improvements, optimizations, and bug fixes.
Nevertheless, there have been issues with bugs after upgrading to Android 12 with MIUI 13, and we recommend waiting for feedback before installing the update. But if you must go ahead, we recommend backing up your files before proceeding.
