Two weeks after the release in Europe, the Global Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE Android 13 update has become available for global units. It’s a stable beta release exclusively for Mi Pilots to preview the build before it becomes available for the public.
The Global Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE Android 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 14.0.2.0 TKOMIXM and weighs 4.3GB. As expected, it brings a stable MIUI based on Android 13, January 2023 security patch, improvements, and new features.
From the changelog, the new Photon Engine is part of the package with a new widget format for more combinations. Xiaomi also introduced Super Icons, while there are other addictions and optimizations. You can check the complete changes here.
Meanwhile, the update will take a while before arriving on your device, as it’s a limited release currently. Although you can use the link below to access the Recovery ROM, we recommend backing up your device before installation.
So far, there haven’t been any reported issues after the upgrade, hence, we recommend upgrading your device to the latest Android OS. You will notice some UI tweaks, like the dialogue box now appearing at the center.
