The latest Xiaomi phones to receive the Android 14-based MIUI 14 update are the global Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. It first arrived for the Chinese model, while the Xiaomi 12T has also received the update. The build is a stable beta build, meaning the final release will soon start rolling out.
It’s unclear when Google will release the stable Android 14 update, but Xiaomi isn’t waiting for that to start rolling out the next iteration of Android OS. With the latest release to the Global Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, the company has finalized the beta tests as the builds are stable beta, meaning it’s more stable compared to previous releases.
However, only select users are getting the stable MIUI 14.2.0 UMCMIXM on their Xiaomi 13 and MIUI 14.0.2.0 UMBMIXM on Xiaomi 13 Pro. The update weighs 5.4GB and comes with the August 2023 security patch to increase system security. Of course, it brings a stable MIUI based on Android 14, with some Android 14 customizations.
If you’re a registered beta tester, you can check for the update via the updater app or use the link below. However, we don’t recommend installation on a daily driver as there might be some issues with the update still. We expect the final stable release to start seeding in the coming weeks, meaning Android 14 will arrive with MIUI 14 for the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
