It has been months since Xiaomi Mi 10 received Android 12 and MIUI 13 in China. The upgrade arrived on European models a couple of days ago and is now making its way to the global variants. As usual, the global Xiaomi Mi 10 stable MIUI 13 and Android 12 update is on a limited rollout.
Google has released the Android 13 beta 1 build to eligible Pixel owners, and we expect Xiaomi to announce their testing plan soon. The Chinese company already made preparations for that, and probably the reason more devices are picking up Android 12 with a stable MIUI 13 update. Currently, the Global Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro stable MIUI 13 update is available for Mi Pilots members with a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SJAMIXM and weighs 3.3GB.
Arriving with the update is a new MIUI based on Android 12, while the security patch level dates March 2022. There are other features, improvements, and bug fixes. According to reports, MIUI 13 has approved system stability, but most people find it laggy until a factory reset is done. However, we understand not everyone is having the issue after upgrading their device, and we recommend backing up your data before performing a factory reset.
Back to features of the global Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro stable MIUI 13, a new ‘super’ crystallization wallpaper, widget, and sidebar have been introduced. The new control center is exclusive to select Chinese phones, but you can enable it manually. After the upgrade, you’ll notice a green bar on the left side of the screen when an app is accessing your microphone, camera, or location.
