The Android 12 deployment might be on, but the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 remains a priority. Xiaomi is currently working to finalize the rollout to usher the next iteration of its Android skin – MIUI 13. They’re expected to present the build towards the end of the year, but we doubt if that will be possible. That’s because the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5, which has just arrived on the global Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, still has months before it’s finalized.
Global Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.7.0 RKAMIXM. It’s based on Android 11 and brings some improvements and optimization. According to the update log, the build has improved performance and will ensure more life between charges. It has done that by introducing Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. Aside from these additions, the update pushed the Android security patch level to September 2021 to increase system security and stability.
As usual, the update is hitting Mi Pilots at the moment. They’ll preview the ROM for bugs, and if in the end there’s none-detected, the update will be released to the public. However, if you would like to flash the ROM via Recovery, you can use the link below to download it. Also, here is how to receive MIUI updates on time.
And as for the Android 12 update, which has arrived for about 200 users, it’s still a beta test. Hopefully, things will become more stable in the coming weeks for the public rollout to commence. For now, we recommend that you download the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 to improve system performance and stability.
