Furthermore, customers who buy one of the Pixel smartphones listed above from the Google shop Japan will receive a shop credit (5,000 yen, or $35) for future purchases, as well as a store credit (13,000 yen, or $90) for purchases of Google Pixel Tablets. Trade-ins of qualified devices are permitted for up to 50,000 yen (about $350).
Google Pixel customers will receive a free limited edition tote bag covered in Google-style doodles and scribbles, with a large ’25’ and ‘1998’ in the center. The tote bag is large enough to carry a 16-inch laptop, but the quantity is limited, so only the first customers are certain to receive the gift. If you don’t want to make a purchase starting August 8, a Google 25th anniversary smartphone wallpaper will be available for free download.
