Here’s Google Pixel 7a hands-on video and camera shots

Someone on YouTube, Munchy, showed us a Google Pixel 7a hands-on video(via the link at the end of the article) alongside camera samples. The Google Pixel 7a in question was the Arctic Blue color variant in all its aesthetics. According to him, the smartphone was bought via purchase although the Pixel 7a isn’t officially on sale yet(till after the Google I/O).

Munchy also photographed using the Pixel 7a. The primary camera produced 16MP images, which appears to be consistent with speculations of a 64 MP main shooter. It most likely makes use of pixel-binning technology. According to the YouTuber, the ultrawide camera, which claims is 12MP, also takes 16MP photos. The images are outstanding, and they will help Google’s low-cost cell phone maintain its status as one of the top camera phones.

Other than the Google Pixel 7a hands-on video

Apart from the Google Pixel 7a hands-on video, we’ve had other leaks surfacing on the internet. The Pixel 7a will be the first in the “a” series to have a high-resolution main camera (64MP), a high-refresh-rate rare display (90Hz), and wireless charging (18W). It’s a significant improvement over the 6a from a year ago. And it is extremely close to the specifications of the Pixel 7 flagship, which is still less than a year old. The Tensor G2 chipset is included.

The Pixel 7 began at $600 last year, and it now nearly always comes with a discount. The Pixel 7a is projected to cost $500, which is $50 higher than the Pixel 6a. Given the significant upgrades on the new model, this is not surprising.

The 6.1″ display is slightly smaller than the 6.3″ panel of the Pixel 7, yet both are FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED panels. A high-resolution primary camera for better Super Res Zoom is also available (rumor has it that it will be a 1/1.37″ Sony IMX787 with 64 MP resolution), as is wireless charging, thus the difference between the 7 and 7a will be rather narrow.  The complete Google Pixel 7a(courtesy of our regular tipster, Roland Quandt) looks quite authentic. However, we should get ready to sit back(with our popcorn) and witness the unveiling of the Google Pixel 7a.
