At the I/O 2022 which was concluded in May, the Big G, Google, unveiled some amazing pieces of tech – speaking of the Pixel 7 series, Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds Pro and of course, the Pixel Tablet. But different from all the others expected before the year ends, the Tablet is scheduled for launch in 2023. Still, some Pixel Tablet specs have surfaced while in the whole anticipation thing.
Pixel Tablet Specs
No doubt, there are some yays and nays with this Tablet but still, it looks pretty sleek, to begin with. Meanwhile, the whole Pixel Tablet specs obtained are thanks to the engineering validation test in which some of the units were sent to India for testing. Of course, this birthed some interesting Pixel Tablet specs to look into.
First up, we have Wi-Fi 6 support and it’s a 10.95″ screen. Furthermore, it was said that this smartphone will be coming in with a stylus, however, it seems its availability is taking the Samsung tradition – it might not be shipped with the tablet. Speaking of storage, Google will be making 128GB and 256GB versions with this Tablet.
Earlier rumours revealed that this Tablet will be coming in with the Android 13 out of the box but will be lacking the proximity sensor, a barometer and GPS support, and touch luck. Earlier rumours suggest that this Tablet will not be getting any new chip, it’s the Tensor from the Pixel 6 lineup.
We don’t know why the brand isn’t making use of the second-generation Tensor chip present in the Google Pixel 7 series and to even ponder further, the Google Pixel Tablet is scheduled to come after the Google Pixel 7 series. Well, since we’re still left in a grey area – thanks to no official announcement from Google – we should take every leak and rumour regarding the Pixel Tablet specs with a pinch of salt as they are subject to change.
