The Pixel 6a is a budget mid-range smartphone with cool features for the price and this draws the attention of the Android community and puts it in a pretty healthy competition with other phone brands’ mid-range smartphones given the software and hardware specs. According to the list of pricing across various cities in the world revealed at the Google I/O 2022 conference, the mid-range smartphone was said to cost $449 in the US. But due to some reasons, the Pixel 6a will cost $499 on the Verizon carrier in the US.
Verizon has been known for pushing the mmwave connectivity at all costs and now because of that, the Google Pixel 6a will cost $499 on this carrier. Verizon had stated earlier that the budget smartphone will be available in all stores and online by July which is slated for the start of pre-order of the Pixel 6a.
This is good news for the Big G as it will up the competition, it increases the price for the users by $50 which is similar to what happened at the debut of the Pixel 4a, although $100 more.
The unlocked model supports only Sub6 networks, while the network provided by Verizon is the 5G mmwave which is capable of pulling more numbers compared to the slower 5G.
Although the Pixel 6a will cost $499 on Verizon, the budget smartphone still supports C-Band 5G on Verizon whether you buy from the carrier or not. Verizon will be selling the Google Pixel 6a in all the three colour variants for $13.88 for 36 months via Verizon device payment and $499 retail.

The Verizon carrier in the US related that the Google Pixel 6a will cost $499 on its carrier, but other cities still leave their prices across various networks static(might appreciate or depreciate in the coming months). Although India’s price tag hasn’t appeared on the Google Pixel 6a price listing, it will be posted once the price is finalized in the region.
All cities where the budget smartphone is going to be available will get the three colour variants except the Republic of Ireland and Singapore which gets just the Charcoal colour option. The pre-order starts July 21 and will start selling in cities available with other non listed countries following suit later.
