The recently released Redmi Note 9 series, which include Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, Note 9 5G, and Redmi Note 9 4G, have already sold over 300,000 units. What it means is that a good number of people now have the phone in their hands. There’s no doubt people outside of China have ordered this phone and might be looking for how to install Google Play store on them. Luckily, Xiaomi is no Huawei, and it will only take a few minutes to download and install Google Play store on the new Redmi Note 9 series.
Meanwhile, why the phones don’t come pre-installed with the Google Play store is that they run Chinese ROM. And since Chinese policies forbid ROM developed in the country to have Google Play store, you won’t see any Chinese ROM with Google play services. That’s why the new Redmi Note 9 series came without Google Play services, but we are going to install it right away.
How to download and install Google Play store on the new Redmi Note 9 series
Step 1. Enable install apps from an unknown source ( settings>>privacy)
Step 2. Look for an app named GetApp. It comes pre-installed with all Xiaomi Android phones
Step 3. Launch the app and search for Google play store
Step 4. Download the app, and on completion, you need to install manually

Install Google Play Services on the new Redmi Note 9 series via Google installer
