Xiaomi has been rolling out the stable version of its latest Android skin – MIUI 12 – for some time now. The update is arriving with some amazing features, which among them is the super wallpaper. Unfortunately, not all Xiaomi phones are eligible for that particular feature. According to the Chinese OEM, It’s exclusively for the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Ultra POCO F2 Pro/Redmi K30 Pro, Mi 10 Lite, Mi 9, Mi 9T Pro/Redmi K20 Pro, Mi 8, Mi 8 Pro, and Mi Mix 3.

How to download and install MIUI 12 super wallpaper
- Download your preferred super wallpaper from this link here
- Install the super wallpaper you downloaded from the above link (check device file manager)
- On completion, head over to Google Playstore and Download ‘Google Wallpaper’ app
- Open the Google Wallpaper app and scroll down until you see ‘Live Wallpapers’ section
- There you will see all the Live Wallpapers installed on your device
- Open to choose your preferred Super Wallpaper that you will like on your screen
- Select ‘set Wallpaper’ and select the home screen and lock screen option

However, the super wallpaper, in some cases, might not apply to either your lock screen or home screen. Here is how to go about it when you encounter such a problem.
- Open Mi Themes App and go to the Wallpaper section
- Search for any live Wallpaper, Download and apply on both home screen and lock screen of your device
- After applying, check if it’s working on both home and lock screen
- If everything is working perfectly, then open Google Wallpaper again and select your preferred Super Wallpaper.
- Chose to apply it to both the lock and home screen
- At this stage, it will work just fine.
