To get started, head over to office.com and sign in using your Microsoft account. If you do not have an account, sign up for a free Office account and follow the on-screen instructions.

After signing up successfully, you will be presented with a list of Office tools, but if not, click on “Create” at the top left pane, then click on “Presentation” and a new Powerpoint document will be opened. Now you can go ahead and create your presentation.

3. Check if your school or workplace offers it for free

If you are a student, your school may offer free Office 365 and this includes Microsoft PowerPoint. In addition, if you work at a company that offers it as an employee benefit, your employer may be able to provide you with the product.

4. Use a Powerpoint alternative

If non of the options already listed appeal to you, then you may want to try out a Powerpoint alternative. One popular option is OpenOffice Impress, which is part of the OpenOffice suite. This software can be downloaded for free from the Apache OpenOffice website.

Another option is LibreOffice Impress, which is part of the LibreOffice suite. This software can also be downloaded for free from the LibreOffice website.

Both OpenOffice Impress and LibreOffice Impress offer many of the same features as Microsoft PowerPoint, so you’ll be able to create professional-looking presentations using either software program.

In Summary

If you need to create presentations but don’t want to spend money on Microsoft PowerPoint, there are ways to get it for free. You can use the web version of the software, download the mobile app, check at your school or workplace, or use a free alternative program. With any of these methods, you will be able to create stunning presentations without spending a dime.
