  • Next, ask the question, “What’s this song?”

2. Using Siri

Siri is another notable app that can help you identify music on your iPhone, though it doesn’t work on Android devices. To use this app, follow the steps below;

  • If the song is playing, Siri will identify it and provide a link to Apple Music where you can access it.

3. Shazam

Shazam is an excellent music identification service that includes features such as synchronized lyrics, links to some of the best music streaming sites, and easy social network sharing. Shazam was acquired by Apple in 2018, however, it is still available for both Android and iOS. To use it on either your Android or iPhone device, follow the steps below;

  • You can as well enable “Auto Shazam” in the app, which allows Shazam to continue to detect what is playing in the background.
