2 Easy Ways to Print Text Messages From an iPhone

Method #1: Print Out Text Messages from iPhone Via Screenshots

On the iPhone screen, you can screenshot anything visible to you. Hence, you may easily save conversations, maps, results, and even text messages. In this case, the only way to secure the messages you want to keep is to print out screenshots of the ones you want to save. Here’s what you need to do;

  • Locate the text message you want to print and open it.
  • Next, press the power and home buttons at the same time to take a screenshot. A screenshot is created when both buttons are pressed simultaneously, and it is automatically saved to your gallery.
  • To view your screenshots, launch the “Photos” app.
  • Choose which ones you want to print, and then send them straight to a printer.

Method #2: Print Out Text Messages from iPhone via Email

You can also print text messages from your iPhone using Email. It is possible to manually choose every conversation you’ve had on your iPhone, copy it, and send it as an email. Here’s what you need to do;

  • Go to the conversation you wish to print in the messaging app on your iPhone.
  • To copy the content of your messages to the iPhone’s clipboard, touch and hold the message you wish to print, then select “Copy” from the menu options. Additionally, you can select multiple messages at once.
  • Now open the Mail app on your iPhone and begin quickly pasting the messages into it to draft them.
  • Next, open the draft emails in the same email account from a desktop computer and use the command print to print out the messages.

Conclusion

That’s it! You now know how to print text messages from an iPhone for free. Whether you need to keep a physical copy of a conversation for your records or you just want to have a hardcopy backup, this process is quick and easy. Give it a try the next time you need to print out text messages from your iPhone.
