1. Check your trash folder:

When you delete a file on Google Drive, it is moved to the trash folder. If you’re looking for a deleted file, the first thing you should do is check the trash folder.

To recover deleted files on Google Drive from the trash folder, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://drive.google.com and log in to your Google account.
  2. Click the “Trash” icon on the left side of the page to open the Trash folder.
  3. Locate the file you want to recover and click on it to select it.
  4. Right-click on the file and select “Restore” from the context menu. The file will be moved out of the Trash folder and back into its original location.

2. Use Google Drive’s “Undo” feature:

If you have accidentally deleted a file on Google Drive, you can quickly recover it by using Google Drive’s “Undo” feature. To use this feature, simply press Ctrl + Z (or Cmd + Z on a Mac) immediately after deleting the file. This will restore the file to its previous location.

3. Try searching for the file:

If you’re unable to find the deleted file in the trash folder, you can try searching for it. To do this, go to your Google Drive and use the search bar at the top of the page. Type in the name of the file you’re looking for and press enter. If the file still exists on your Google Drive, it should appear in the search results.

4. Ask for help from Google Drive support:

If you’re still unable to find your deleted file, you can contact Google Drive support for help. To do this, go to the Google Drive support page and click on the “Contact Us” button. You can then fill out a form to submit a request for help with recovering your deleted file.

By following these steps, you should be able to recover deleted files on Google Drive. Remember to check the trash folder, use the “Undo” feature, search for the file, and contact Google Drive support if needed.
