The Xiaomi sub-brand POCO has a little way to differentiate its phones from those launched under the parent company. They pre-install the POCO Launcher to give it a different and minimalist design. However, with MIUI 12, third-party launchers stopped working on these phones, and because POCO Launcher hasn’t been updated past V2.0, it was missing a handful of recent features. Perhaps, the company has heeded the pleas of its users and has just released the POCO Launcher 4.0.
The POCO Launcher 4.36.0.4648-04202225 weighs about 20MB in size. That’s a big jump from V2.7, meaning the company has been working on the current upgrade for some time now. As expected, the new update brings new features, including an entirely new search program.
