Google recently released the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro with some notable improvements. The duo debuted running the company’s in-house Tensor Chip, which has been touted to perform excellently well in the area of photography. That didn’t stop Google from improving on the camera hardware and software. The company has introduced some interesting features, which are limited to Pixel 6 series phone users for now. And going by recent reports, the giant tech company is rolling out new features with the Google camera 8.4.

Gcam 8.4: Download the latest Google camera 8.4

The latest Google camera 8.4 is about 300MB in size and comes with some performance improvements while introducing new features. They include a Timer light, a manual White Balance, and a Manual Exposure toggle. Unfortunately, Google has limited this update to Pixel 6 owners, but we expect a wider rollout in the coming days. Although the update can be side-loaded, people that tried it complained it crashed. Nevertheless, we have added a link below this post for those that would like to download it.

Meanwhile, developers are yet to release the Google camera 8.4 mod. For now, the APK is limited to Pixel users, particularly Pixel 6 owners. As usual, we expect developers to release a mod version of the APK in the coming days. That said, you can bookmark this post to know when the mod version becomes available for download.

How to download the latest Google camera 8.4

  • Head over to this link and download the APK
  • Locate it on your downloads folder and double click to start the installation
  • You might get a warning to enable ”installation from unknown source” You can do that under settings>>privacy
  • Go back and complete the installation and then launch the app

Update: December 17, 2021

The first Google camera 8.4 mod was released some days ago. It support Android 10 and later. According to Devloper, BSG, the app is still unstable and might work on selected phones for now. Check out the full report here.
