POCO X6 Pro received the HyperOS update about two months ago, with subsequent updates being released to resolve issues and improve performance. However, it was not the case with an update that arrived a few days ago, as it left some of the phones rebooting into Recovery mode.
We reported some hours ago about the random reboots being experienced by some POCO X6 Pro users after installing a new HyperOS update. According to the report, some phones reboot into Recovery, which can be frustrating. It was affecting those in India, Europe, and Global, which Xiaomi confirmed in its weekly bug report.
The company acknowledged the issue and said a new update would be released to address the problem. As expected, a new POCO X6 Pro update is now rolling out in all three regions affected by the last update. However, it’s a limited release, meaning only a few people will get it for preview.
Meanwhile, the latest POCO X6 Pro update is rolling out with version numbers OS1.0.8.0.UNLMIXM (Global), OS1.0.7.0.UNLINXM(India), and OS1.0.7.0.UNLRUXM (Europe). Aside from supposedly fixing the random reboot issues, the update also bumps the Android security patch level to March 2024. You can check for the update via the updater app or use the links below.
