New update released for the Redmi Note 10 Pro

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is currently pushing a new stable update to optimize performance and fix some bugs. The budget-friendly device debuted a couple of months ago with a primary 108MP sensor and features Snapdragon 732 SoC. Of course, it runs MIUI on top of Android 11, but with some frustrating bugs that are yet to be fixed. Some of these bugs include touch issues, battery drain, lags during games, proximity sensor not working, and more. We thought the arrival of MIUI 12.5 will address all these bugs, but it seems to take more than just a single build of that to sort them all.

The latest Redmi Note 10 Pro update is, of course, an update to address issues facing device users. However, only Mi Pilots members are getting the update, so we don’t know, for sure, what other problems have been solved except for the ones on that update log. The log of the latest Redmi Note 10 Pro update has fixed the frozen animation when the device is unlocked with a face ID. Also, the notification badges not updating with incoming notifications on the lock screen have been fixed. And hopefully, the overlapping of the keyboard on floating windows is gone now. 

The update is available in multiple regions but has arrived for only a few. It is available globally as MIUI 12.5.4.0 RKFMIXM and as MIUI 12.5.3.0 RKFEUXM in Europe. Those in Taiwan are only receiving the update for the first time, and hence, the version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RKFTWXM. And while you can download these builds below, you’ll need an authorized Mi Beta account for installation. Unless you have TWRP recovery installed, otherwise wait for the OTA.
