It’s three days before the Dragon Boat Festival that will see Xiaomi suspend all office work, including the MIUI 12 development and deployment. One would expect the company to relax all updates, at least, until after the break, but it seems they’re getting started.
Xiaomi is currently on fire with update rollouts. The past few days have seen the company upgrade the Redmi 7 series to Android 10. Although only the Redmi Note 7A has received the update globally, we do know that in two weeks, other regions will start getting it as well.
Unfortunately, the Redmi Note 8 is yet to upgrade to Android 10, but there has been some improvement. There’s a MIUI 12 Beta update for the device, which is based on Android 10 that was partially rolled out a couple of days ago, but due to an unknown bug, it was pulled. However, you can still check the update and possibly download too, but at your own risk.
Meanwhile, a new Redmi Note Stable update – MIUI 11.0.7.0 PCOCNXM is now rolling out. The update weighs in at 343MB and bumps the security patch level to June 2020 while improving the system stability.
