Xiaomi MIUI is one of the best Android skins out there and boast of many fascinating features. The company is also preparing on a wide rollout of its latest Android skin (MIUI 12.5). It promises to improve the stability of the system, something Xiaomi acknowledged a couple of days ago that it has not put attention on in the last couple of days. It was during a Q&A session that Xiaomi’s director of smartphone software department, Zhang Guoquam, made that known. He said the company will prioritize that this year and will look to fix bugs affecting MIUI, including the unlock animation issues faced by most Mi fans.
During the Q&A session, Zhang Guoquam, confirmed they will fix the unlock animation issues via system launcher update. For some time now, users have been complaining of no animation when unlocking their device. And going by the recent report, a new update has been pushed to MIUI Alpha Launcher. It has a version number – V4.22.0.3066-04092042 – and weighs in at 12MB.
For starters, the Xiaomi MIUI Alpha launcher branch is the beta version of MIUI system launcher. That’s the reason updates are pushed frequently to address issues faced by Mi Fan. After a series of tests and when it has become stable enough, the update will be pushed to stable users in the form of MIUI system launcher update.
