The South Korean brand, LG, hasn’t had a nice business path as regards mobile phones. I mean, the band left the Chinese mobile phone market after which they exited the market globally. Be that as it may, the brand promises to take care of devices that were released just before the market exit. The LG’s Android 13 roadmap has been unveiled and the brand is dwelling on that promise.
Further details on the LG’s Android 13 roadmap
According to the LG’s Android 13 roadmap, the LG Velvet as well as the LG Wing will be receiving the Android 13 software in early 2023 – precisely, sources mention the first quarter of 2023. It is worth noting that receiving the Android 13 update, that will make three major OS upgrades the LG Wing received – which means, it will probably not get the Android 14 after this.
For the LG Velvet, this might be the last as well, as the smartphone got the Android 12 March this year and is also going to get the Android 13 – oh well, LG might have other plans. Although not mentioned officially by LG, sources proposed that the LG’s Android 13 roadmap isn’t going to leave out the LG V60.
The 2-year-old LG Velvet and Wing would be taking a whole new amazing look with the Android 13 and coupled with their features and hardware, the users are in for a smooth experience. For reference, the LG Wing houses two screens (6.8 inches 2460 x 1080 OLED and 3.9 inches 1240 x 1080 OLED), a rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP main camera sensor, 2 13MP and 12MP ultrawide, and then a 32MP selfie camera. You get to enjoy these hardware features and the Android 13 on a 4000 mAh battery – which is impressive for a smartphone that debuted in 2020.
The LG Velvet has a couple of amazing feats as well. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G chip, comprising a 48MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 5MP depth sensor at the rear and then a 16MP selfie camera. It’s nice there’s an LG’s Android 13 roadmap, to begin with, and even nicer that the brand isn’t abandoning these smartphones.
