Samsung leads the Android 13 deployment and claims that the Android 14 rollout will be faster. As we draw closer to the end of the Android 13, we still have a few Galaxy smartphones getting the Android 13-based OneUI 5 – it’s the Galaxy M53 5G and Galaxy S10 Lite Android 13 update this time.
As of October till now, the stable update has landed on the flagship S22, S21, S20, some A-series and even some foldables. The Galaxy M53 5G Android 13 bears firmware version M536BXXU1BVK4 and will be coming in with the October Security Patch. However, the Galaxy S10 Lite Android 13 update will be getting the November security patch. Both software updates are available in Europe and will be rolling out to other regions in the coming weeks.
What’s new?
The Galaxy M53 5G and Galaxy S10 Lite Android 13 updates bear a lot of similarities as they both get the OneUI 5, just the difference in the SMRs. As for the OneUI 5, it is integrated with a lot of features that range from UI enhancements to stock app improvements to accessibility and customisation improvements among many others.
Although the OneUI 5 might not be as sleek as it is on the high-end smartphones, no doubt, together with the SMRs, they’ll be getting a whole new look.
