With only a few months left before the Mi A2 support comes to an end, one would expect Xiaomi to slow down on how often they release updates for the device. Also, with the company suspending the Mi A-series lineup, we thought things might be different interms of support, but nothing has changed. Instead, the company is now pushing updates on time, with fewer bugs than we have seen in the last couple of months. That’s commendable, and now, the March security patch for the Mi A2 has been released globally, few days after the Mi A3 received the same update.
However, according to a Moderator in the Mi community forum, the update is released for selected users, meaning not everyone would get the update at this time. The company wants to see if there’ll be an issue of bugs before releasing the update to a wider population. Luckily, we have got the download links below, and you can download the build by clicking on them.
The March security patch for the Mi A2 has a version number – V11.0.22.0 QDIMIXM. Of course, it bumps the Android security patch level to March and increases system security. As usual, the update is said to have fixed some bugs while optimizing system performance. You can check the update via system updates if you’re yet to receive prompt notification. But as said earlier, the update has only been released for limited users and might take some time before it gets to your device.
