May 2022 security patch for Google Pixel phones
With the May 2022 security patch bulletin released, Pixel phones have starting getting the update. The build is available for eligible Pixel phones with a build number SP2A-220505-002. Interestingly, the latest update includes a patch for the Dirty Pipe Vulnerabilities (CVE-2022-0847) for affected pixel phones.
Also, the May 2022 security patch for Google Pixel improves haptic feedback on Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. It addresses the occasional waking up of the screen without any interaction while the launcher crashing after restarting the device is resolved.
