Xiaomi has finally introduced the Mi 10T in china wearing the Redmi badge. It’s called Redmi K30S in the company’s home country, and as expected, the price is more affordable compared to the European price, while the specs remain unchanged. But even at a reduced price, you still get a dual memory option.
There’s a standard 8GB RAM, which is paired with either 128GB or 256GB internal memory and is not expandable. As for other specs of the phone, they remain the same as that of Xiaomi Mi 10T, and hence, you’re looking at a 6.67-inch LCD panel device with an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate, the first for any Xiaomi phone. It’s protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and underneath is a tiny punch hole for the 20MP selfie snapper.
The camera at the back is headed by a 64MP shooter, which is accompanied by two additional sensors: a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 5MP macro shooter. Power is delivered by a beefy 5000mAh battery with a 33W fast charging solution. It will take 65 minutes to charge the Xiaomi Redmi K30S from 0 to 100%.
Under the hood is Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core SoC. The power-efficient processor, coupled with the Adreno 650 and the LPDDR5 RAM, will deliver peak performance and fluent multitasking.
Other features of the Xiaomi Redmi K30S include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, SA and NSA 5G connection, USB C port, stereo speakers, NFC, and infrared.
