Global Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 update now available

Before the MIUI 12.5 rollout started, one could easily predict the region to get a new MIUI update after its release. The Chinese users are always the first to get a new update, followed by the global variants and other branches of MIUI. That hasn’t been upheld with the new iteration of MIUI. For instance, the Mi 11 Lite 5G first received MIUI 12.5 in Taiwan before heading over to China and now seeding for global users. Meanwhile, it was a different situation for the Mi 11 Ultra. The device received the update in China and was shortly followed by the European rollout, with the global now getting the update.

Meanwhile, the global Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 update is a limited release. Only stable beta testers are keeping the update pending when the betting preview is completed. Both builds have the same changes, which are the basics of the new MIUI OS. It has reduced power consumption and background memory usage by up to 25%. Also, with the custom device model adjustment, your Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Ultra become faster the upgrade. Of course, responses to gestures are now instant, but only if you’re using a system launcher as third-party ones still don’t work.
