Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro was the first device that commercially debuted the 108MP camera sensor in China and arrived in the international market as Mi Note 10 / Pro months after. The device came pre-installed with Android Pie, and so could only get upgraded to Android 11, which is the current OS. With that, it misses out on Android 12 but hasn’t stopped Xiaomi from rolling out the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro / Mi Note 10 stable MIUI 13 update.
As expected, the rollout is live in China with version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 RFDCNXM. It comes in a 3.0GB package and san Android 12. However, the update has introduced the features of MIUI 13 and bumps the Android patch level to increase system security. Also, the new update adds some security features – a privacy camera for face recognition and protective watermarks for images, and a comprehensive anti-fraud protection mechanism.
There has been an introduction of a new Mi Sans system font, a new widget ecosystem with app support and personalization options, new features for performing tasks seamlessly on multiple connected devices, and new Crystallization super wallpapers. Privacy protection, secure web browsing, better feed, Enhanced accessibility support for Phone, Clock, Weather, and Theme app, with the Mind map node being more convenient and intuitive, are some of the optimizations that came with the current build.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro / Mi Note 10 stable MIUI 13 update is a limited rollout, meaning it would take days to arrive on your device. To avoid the wait, you can do the extra work by accessing the ROM using the link below and flashing manually.
