Xiaomi released the POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 update to the global users a couple of days ago. It was a limited rollout as of then but has since started arriving for the wider public. With that, we expect the rollout to extend to other regions, which has now arrived in Indonesia and Russia. Again, it’s a limited rollout and will only arrive for limited users in the region. After the preview phase, it will be time for the public rollout.
The MIUI 12.5 might be yet to arrive on all eligible users, but Xiaomi has already released an Enhanced Edition. It’s said to optimize system performance, which seems to be the case given the features it presents. From August 13, Xiaomi will start rolling out the update in China, starting with the Mi 11 series and Redmi K40 series. Of course, the POCO X3 NFC will receive the update, but you have to upgrade to MIUI 12.5 first.
Luckily, the rollout has now arrived in Russia and Indonesia. It is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJGRUXM and MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJGIDXM, respectively. As expected, it brings features of the new MIUI OS to improve performance and address bugs. The update also bumps the Android security patch level to July 2021 to increase system security and stability.
Meanwhile, the POCO X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 in Russia and Indonesia didn’t address the third-party launcher compatibility issue and ugly square chat bubbles. Hopefully, the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition will fix the issues when it finally arrives on global models. However, you should download the current build to fortify the device ahead of a seamless upgrade.
