Xiaomi has confirmed they will be having a new product launch on September 9. The event is probably to introduce the recently released product in China to the global market. On August 10, Xiaomi released the Mi Mix 4, Mi Pad 5, and Mi Pad 5 Pro. They also announced an enhanced version of the current MIUI build – MIUI 12.5. That has since arrived on eligible units in that region and could make its global debut a month after the Chinese unveiling.
There has been debate whether Xiaomi will release the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition for global handsets. We never doubted that, but given the lack of communication from Xiaomi, many people believe the build is China exclusive. Well, the company still hasn’t said anything about the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition for Global users, but they are likely to do so next month.
According to the latest poster, the Chinese company will have a product launch on September 15. The star of the show is going to be the newly launched Mi Pad 5 series. That’s because, going by recent reports, Mi Mix 4 will remain in China. We also expect the company to officially announce the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced edition for global handsets.
Meanwhile, the Enhanced version of MIUI 12.5 isn’t a new iteration of MIUI. It’s a regular MIUI build but with some notable improvements. They’re essentially on memory and data processing to improve system performance. Also, it introduced what is called Intelligent Balanced – intelligently deploy of flagship hardware performance. Check the full improvements on the build here.
According to the Chinese release roadmap, the Mi 11 Pro / Ultra, Mi 11, Mi 10, Mi 10, POCO F3, Mi 11X Pro, Mi 10T & Mi 10T Pro, and POCO F2 Pro could be the first to receive the update. That said, you should keep an eye on our page for more information.
