Earlier today, Xiaomi released a new stable update to the Mi 10T & Mi 10T Pro Globally. The update is also available in Europe but with a different version number. That raised some questions if the build is the supposed Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5. However, looking at the changelog, we can say that the update is only a new stable MIUI 12.5 build. But the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition for the Mi 10T & Mi 10T Pro could be around the corner as the update is released in China for the Redmi K30S.
For starters, the Redmi K30S is the Chinese version of Mi 10T. Hence, both phones are the same, meaning the build will soon start seeding for the Mi 10T & Mi 10T Pro. And since both phones have the same development, you can install the Chinese ROM on your Mi 10T. But that means some Google services might stop working, and you will also have the option for only two languages – Chinese and English.
Meanwhile, the Redmi K30S / Mi 10T MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition is hitting eligible units with a version number – MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJDCNXM. It’s based on Android 11 and weighs in at 745MB. As expected, it brings the supposed features, which are essentially memory improvements to reduce power consumption. Aside from the new improvements, the build bumps the Android security patch level to July 2021 to increase system security. Below you can check the changes.
