As expected, Xiaomi has officially presented the latest MIUI custom Android skin globally. According to Xiaomi, MIUI is now lighter and faster. With MIUI 12.5, power consumption is reduced to 20%, while gestures have been optimized for high priority and instant response. MIUI 12.5 global rollout plan and supported device
Unlike the Chinese launch, which also kick-started the closed beta test, Xiaomi doesn’t seem to have plans for the global users. However, there’s a beta registration ongoing for the global users, but Xiaomi has warmed it’s not for MIUI 12.5 global beta testing. You can follow this link and register to become a global beta tester.
The MIUI 12.5 global rollout plan says the update will start seeding in Q2 2021. It means the time frame is the same as the Chinese, and hence, we expect to see the first wave from April. Xiaomi Mi 10 series and Mi 11 will receive the update first before extending to other eligible phones.

These are very good news as indeed I own and love my POCO X3 NFC that’s also on the second wave rollout plan for MIUI 12.5 Global – Stable version with Android 11.0 on top.
