It might be surprising that Mi 10T & Mi 10T Pro are yet to receive the stable MIUI 12.5 Pro in some regions. The update arrived on global models months ago but has only been pushed to units in Turkey. And even with the late deployment in that region, it’s still a limited rollout. That means only a handful of phones will receive the update for preview. Usually, it will last for some days, after which the update will be released for everyone.
The MIUI 12.5 update for Mi 10T & Mi 10T Pro in Turkey is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJDTRXM. It comes in a 973MB package along with features of the new MIUI OS. They include instant response to gestures, custom device model adjustments, more rendering power, revamped Note app, and more. The update has also bumped the Android security patch level of July 2021 to increase system security and stability.
As expected, it has addressed some issues left by MIUI 12 and Android 11. However, some have persisted, and that includes third-party launcher compatibility issues and the ugly square chat bubbles. Also, you might experience some lags and glitches after upgrading, but a factory reset should solve it for you. Hopefully, with the arrival of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, which might arrive Globally next month, some of these persistent problems might finally get a fix.
