After the unveiling of Motorola P30, the tech company has officially released two new Android One device – Motorola One and One Power. The Motorola One is now selling on Amazon Spain, but it’s going to set you back €299 to become yours. Other markets including; UK, Germany, and other European countries will also be getting the device. It will also be hitting the US very soon and is likely to sell at $348.


Meanwhile, Motorola One is built around a 5.9-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio notch screen. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 625 Octa-core chipset which also featured in Xiaomi Note 5 (Redmi 5 Plus), paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage expandable via Micro SD.

The camera department houses dual camera sensor to allow post shot effect. Coming to the main camera, there is a 13MP sensor accompanied by 13MP sub snapper, while the selfie snapper has an 8MP sensor. The battery is 3000mAh and supports Turbo fast charging for fast top up.


Other Motorola One Specifications, include rear-mounted fingerprint identification scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack that has become scarce on smartphones recently. Out of the box, it will run Android OS 8.1 Oreo (Stock Android).

Motorola One is built around a 5.9-inch FHD+ capacitive 18:9 aspect panel display. It allows for a wide view display of details, coupled with over 16m colors to represent images naturally. Meanwhile, the screen has 1080 x 2160px resolution onboard 409PPI for enhanced user experience and to deliver seamless and vivid details under the 2.5D glass.


Performance


Features on the Motorola One is power efficient Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor. It was the same chip that featured in Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus and most mid-range device with decent performance. On Motorola One, it’s paired with 4GB RAM for fast performance and power optimization, coupled with Adreno 509 to take off the graphics. The core, however, clocks at 2.0GHz and uses Cortex-A53. Out of the box, it will run Android OS 8.1 Oreo (Stock Android) pending the arrival of Android Pie.

Packed inside the Motorola One is a 64GB internal memory expandable via Micro SD. It’s literally not enough but considering the price tag, which has been set to peg you back $348 and considering the fact that there is an expansion slot, it’s Worth’s every penny.


Camera


Motorola One debuts with the trendy dual rear camera arrangement. It consists of 13MP snappers accompanied also by a 13MP sub sensor, basically, for depth or portrait mode. It features LED-Flash, wide angle and HDR, while the front selfie camera had an 8MP sensor for taking nice shots.


Security


In recent time, we have seen phones like Axon 9 and POCO F1 debuts with multiple security systems, combining both the facial ID and fingerprint reader. However, Motorola One banks on fingerprint identification scanner which provides more security to the facial unlock. It’s rear-mounted and has been designed to deliver a 0.1s unlock time performance.


Battery


To power Motorola One is a 3000mAh battery, coupled with a power efficient chipset, will provide additional time on usage. The battery support Turbo fast charging (15 Watt), through a USB-C cable. Interestingly, it didn’t replace the 3.5mm headphone jack.
